A Final Prognosis

Mom's stroke broke her entire body (at this point she can only blink) and she will probably go home to Jesus within the next day or so. At this time, we would like to say our goodbyes privately.

We are sincerely grateful for your love, support and prayers - and I know Mom is too. Shortly she will be whole again, worshiping her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Alma 19:57-58
57) Yea, this bringeth about the restoration of those things of which have been spoken by the mouths of the prophets.
58) The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost, but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame.

Mom, I love you with my whole heart. I will miss you every single day until I see you again, but I know you will be standing with Jesus soon. So in words of Chris Rice:

With your final heartbeat, kiss the world goodbye
Go in peace and laugh on glory's side
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live

  6. To our lifelong friend Jack and to the children and grandchildren and all of God's creatures who have been cared for and loved by you over these many years, the earth says its alohas to the special and beautiful spirit we know as Susan.

Susan's "heart smile" was one of God's greatest gifts and this I will carry imprinted upon my heart as our dear friend Susan is now preparing to "walk the rainbow" and be with her Lord.

May God bless and hold closs the Mauck family in this time of painful earthly loss and let Susan's "forever heart smile" bring you comfort in the days and years ahead as you continue your lives "one moment at a time".

  7. I think I sat here for a few minutes trying to find the words, any words... that would do justice to what I want to say.

I remember telling you years ago that I really admired and respected your mom. I recall some small bit of head butting you were having with her at the time, :) but your love, caring and inspiration for her was apparent.

You know I have differing beliefs, but I do believe that your mother is amazingly proud of you and all you've done and all you are going to do in life.

I remember her telling me once in my office (you were talking to Aaron at that moment) that you were the utter joy of her life. Her words exactly. That through all of the ups and downs, the good times and bad, she felt good knowing that you had grown up to be a fine young woman, full of zeal for living, and just as stubborn as she was. :)

You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers, Jackie. (hugs) - Mario
